We have tried to keep our privacy policy simple, and the following outlines what we collect, and what we do with that information.
(1) USER INFORMATION
You agree and acknowledge that registration is required in order for a user to create an account and utilize the NTSN website. You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information about yourself in all required fields. Users are required to update any information submitted if a change occurs. NTSN reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate a user account if it suspects that the submitted information is incomplete, inaccurate or misleading.
(2) USER ACCOUNTS
You acknowledge that NTSN website currently utilizes a tiered account structure.
Types of user accounts:
- Anonymous: NTSN does not allow non-registered users to submit responses to other posts anonymously. Anonymous users may view public content, and provide feedback through the website.
- Non-validated User Accounts: These accounts have registered with the NTSN website, however have not yet completed the validation process. Failure to complete this process within three (3) days of registration will result in the account being cancelled.
- Validated User Accounts: These accounts have access to many of the features for the site. Users are responsible for regulating the content of their personal information.
(3) PRIVACY POLICY
NTSN will not give out your information to the general public. If you have questions or concerns regarding this policy, please send your questions and/or concerns to NTSN.
(4) INFORMATION COLLECTED
During the registration process, the following information must be provided by each user: first name, last name, city, date of birthday, and gender. In addition to this, users may also provide information on membership with TNS or AANR, a personal website, a profile picture and interests.
Following registration, each access to the site is logged by recording the time and date of the visit, and the IP address of the access point. Additional information may be logged when requests are made to download information, and upload informaiton. While this information is logged, it is only reviewed when site problems occur or a complaint has been made. The files are not archived longer than 30-days unless there is reason to do so.
(5) LINKS TO OTHER SITES
As a resource, NTSN offers links to other useful sites on the Internet. If you follow any link that takes you to a location that does not include ‘ntsn.org’ in the address, you will have left NTSN website and you will need to refer to that site’s own privacy policy.
