Wildwood Naturist Resort is hosting their 15th Annual Skinny Dipper Run on Saturday, April 28. The race starts at 1Pm, and gates open at 9AM. Early registration is over, but you can still register for the race on the day. The race fee includes a barbecue dinner and the opportunity to spend the day with a hundred or so people naked. It is a great day, and we hope to see you there.

Healthy Nude Bodies

I recently read this blog entry from The Emerging Nudist about body acceptance and image. One part of this posting jumped out at me, which was:

Yet I have now come to embrace the idea that health and fitness issues can and should be able to peacefully coexist with the issue of body image.

This is so true. In my opinion. The whole concept of naturism – for me – is the ability to live a long and healthy life nude. It is one of those ongoing battles that I personally have. Naturists do have a general acceptance of all people’s bodies in their naked form, but it is the personal desire to be healthier that is driving me more today. Do I accept a compliment when given? You bet. Do I give compliments? Again, I do.

Nudist Travel Destinations Getting More Popular

According to a news release by Source Events, nude travel is booming.

According to the article, “Nude travel has become a $440 million industry – more than double what it was ten years ago, according the American Association for Nude Recreation. The business has increasingly gone upscale, trading rustic nudist camps for luxury resorts and cruises. ”

Trip Advisor recently released their Top 10 Listing of Clothing Optional resorts, which lists only two resorts in the United States, and three in Mexico.
